How do I get the family court judge to interview my son about his wanting to leave his mother and live with me

Last year on Sept 01, 07 my son announced to his mother he does not want to live with her anymore. He is now 13. He has lived with her since the divorce of 5 years ago. Since the divorce she has not been ammicable towards me. My son has played ice hockey and roller hockey and baseball. he doesn't play them anymore because of her lack of support. she is mentaly abusive to him and keeps him from me. I only see him under the divorce visitation days and times. He has begged her to let him go. She treats him like "an old pair of shoes in the back of a closet that no one wants to wear" (his own words). I have emails gallore on how bad it is there and needs to get out. She forced him to light fireworks then ridiculed him when he refused because he was affraid. He ran away to the police to have them get me. The judge is pushing the case asside in wanting social worker after psychologist gallore interview all. This is costing close to 25k and I can't take it anymore!! Niether can my son. "NJ"

This woman is probably also greedy. Make her a monetary offer to sign your son over to you.
Reply:If you have an attorney , what's he doing to earn his money . If you don't have an attorney GET ONE QUICK. The judge sounds like a Bozo... the kid is old enough to make the decision for himself (in Connecticut ) . The court should also have retained a separate attorney for your son .
