Roller shoe help!!?

I am 20 years old, and I was so excited that I am able to still fit in to kids shoe sizes, and as a result, I bought my first pair of roller shoes. The only problem is, I have no idea how to skate with them! The shoes that I have have one wide wheel on the back that can be put up or down by this nob on the heel of the shoe. Any pointers or techniques on how to skate with these? Thanks for your help!

Roller shoe help!!?
Fun! I%26#039;m 16 and I have a pair that I love. I%26#039;d suggest holding onto a wall or a railing when you first start and lift your toes up while walking. Then you%26#039;ll just glide along! It takes a bit of practice, but it%26#039;s fun!

Actually, though, I%26#039;ve got a bit of an ulterior motive for answering this. While my answer is totally valid, I really want to talk to you about Juilliard- I%26#039;m a vocalist and it%26#039;s my top-choice school and I really want to talk about admissions and audition stuff. Could you email me- whispyfox@aol.com

Thanks, and I hope I answered your question.
Reply:Not to be rude or anything but why would you get them? you are an adult not a child.
Reply:you have to lift the toe up and roll. My granddaughter got some and couldn%26#039;t figure them out till she saw some other kids with them and within minutes she had is down. Maybe go where kids wear them and watch. some kids put the toe of 1 foot on the heel of the other. Good luck.
